A wonderful sunny day, great company, quaint venue, and a gorgeous bride and groom make for an awesome wedding! Kara and Spencer had their wedding at my old stomping grounds- Benicia, CA. Once served as the state capital of California, Benicia is a quiet suburban town surrounded by parks and elementary schools! Kara and Spencer had their wedding at the Inn at Benicia Bay; a splendid little bed and breakfast in the heart of Benicia. An initimate setting, beautiful colors, and lots of love and smiles created a great atmosphere as Kara and Spencer tied the knot. I was truly grateful to be a part of their wedding as a guest and photographer! Thanks so much for sharing your wonderful day with me!

A long lost friendship, reunited once again gave me the opportunity to spend time with a silly, genuine, crazy family- The Padillas! Michelle, a fellow sister from our days in Delta Phi Gamma was re-introduced to me earlier this year for wedding details, and planning jargon. She was very helpful, and sent me every wedding link known to woman! What started off as a wedding info. exchange, bloomed into quite a memorable, quirky friendship! I also got the chance to meet her wonderful family- Adrian her husband, and their son Ayden. They are such an awesome family, which made our day fun and filled with laughter in San Diego. Thanks for such a fun day guys! Some shots to show how much fun they had.

Alas, the long awaited roomie reunion dinner for 2009! Bonding over great food, wine, and conversations about new changes in our lives are what keep us all together! Our host, Martin Marsala was dubbed one of the coolest roomies to be found amongst the pool of strangers we have lived with in the past. He purchased a home a mile away from the humble Bentley abode, fixed it up, and thought it would be a great place for us to have our reunion dinner!
Kerri along with Theresa took me into the Bentley home back in early 2006, and with the addition of Martin, a new family was born! Kerri fled the nest first to move in with her wonderful man Michael. Soon after, Martin decided to move a mile away into his own home. He rented a room out to my fiance Shaun! A year later, Theresa flees the coupe to return to the greener pastures in Camarillo. Kristina, is .. still here! HAHA What happened to me?! My shining moment will come soon damnit! =)
These guys have not only been awesome roommates, but genuine family members! We have had some good times, and we always have good food and wine to share! Thanks guys for an awesome evening, we MUST do it again! With Theresa this time!!!!!!!

On February 13, 2009 I received a text message saying, “Happy Valentine’s Day, Spencer and I are engaged!” Kara, my good friend from high school has finally found her other half, Spencer, and I couldn’t be happier for them! They are both super active and enjoy rock climbing, skiing/snowboarding, hiking, and mountain biking. Shaun and I spent the afternoon with them in a lovely town called Sausalito. The town was filled with crowds from every which way, but that didn’t bother Kara and Spencer. They were in their own little world! They are so fun, and full of energy, it was so easy to snap shots. Their personality really shows in their photos, and how truly happy they are together. Thanks for a great day guys! Can’t wait till October!! WOOHOO! Here are a few of my favorites from the day. =)
Date Night!

A sweet surprise from my hubby to be! DATE NIGHT! He decided to take me out to dinner, to a place in San Francisco called Joe Dimaggio’s Chophouse. =) A great atmosphere with a live jazz band, and great chops! We toasted to having this be our past due “engagement dinner” that did not happen back in Decemeber when we got engaged! haha Let’s not forget the wonderful wine we had that evening! Leuwin Art Series 2004 Chardonnay, a great wine and a significant wine to us as it marked the start of our newly found relationship! A great evening all around, thanks to my awesome fiance’! Of course, I couldn’t leave my camera at home! A few photos to remember the moment! Enjoy =)
Isaiah’s Baby Shower!

There was a baby shower put on for my little buddy IJR on June 27, at my fiance’s house in Pasadena. Too bad Isaiah slept through most of it, I didn’t even get a shot of the guest of honor! The other kids that were there were pretty entertaining to say the least! Insanely hot outside, delicious food, and lots of new faces (to me at least), but very FUN! Here are a few shots of the kids and the fun!

Sadly.. My roommate must leave the nest here in Laguna Hills, and move on to life in the green pastures of Camarillo! I made her some cookies for her going away party to show her how I felt about this whole moving fiasco. Enjoy!
You will be missed.. but the wedding is coming up! I’m sure I’ll be seeing you A LOT during that time! =)
